Atomic Shrimp

Atomic Shrimp is a YouTuber and Instagrammer who likes to document his many interests, hobbies, and endeavors, including scambaiting, making reviews on products, showcasing his inventions, and many more. His other aliases are Mike and Mange Trout, among many others; these aliases are meant for anonymity so that he does not become notorious and sought after in the scamming community.

According to his YouTube about page,[1] he is based in the United Kingdom.

YouTube

Arguably his most famous and successful video series has been about his scambaiting, in which he draws out long-lasting correspondences with scammers seeking to gain his personal information.

These are also called 419 scams.

Atomic Shrimp employs many different processes to keep these scammers occupied with his messages, and to therefore effectively waste their time where they could be scamming other people.

One of these methods is called utilizing "righteous indignation," in which Shrimp responds to anger showcased by the scammer with such, but in a formal and proper fashion.

Mike is always keen to point out at the beginning of most of his videos[2] that his channel does not solely consist of deceiving 419 scammers.

He also creates a plethora of other content, including reviewing products, making crafts and food, going into nature, etc.
