Ashley Ware was a resident of Fargo, North Dakota.

In 2008 she was kidnapped by Vincent Degidio and told by Degidio that she would be raped and murdered.

She escaped from him allegedly using her nursing skills.

She was 23 at the time of the attack.

Degidio was sentenced to over 28 years in prison.

A television show was created about the incident.

In one of the episodes Ware forgave Degidio.
