Facebook Live and Arrest
Ashley says that she's not the murderer.
In early March 2017, she posted a Facebook Live video of her and Hakeem ranting about shooting someone following the death of 19-year-old Drekeiston Alex. They then took a photo of themselves posing as Bonnie & Clyde as Ashley holds an assault rifle.
Alex was walking through a parking lot when a gunman fired at him in the middle of the street around 2:40 p.m. in the afternoon on Thursday.
He was taken to Baylor University Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
The Police later released surveillance footage showing the gunman dressed in all black and photos of a red 2007 PT Cruiser, which sources say apparently belonged to Coleman, according to her arrest affidavit.
Police eventually located the vehicle Friday through witnesses who provided them with locations.
On Sunday, March 5th, 2017, Hakeem and Ashley were both charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Drekeiston Alex, and bail was set at $500,000 each, police said.
The two have denied any involvement in the murder and affiliation to the murder.
