Anselmo Feleppa
Anselmo Feleppa (August 21, 1956 - March 26, 1993) was a Brazilian fashion designer. He is known as the first love - and perhaps true love - of famed singer George Michael. Anselmo died of AIDS. George wrote him a tribute song entitled " Jesus To A Child ". His death plunged Michael into drug use and deep depression. [1]
George Michael
Anselmo met George when he attended a concert in Rio de Janeiro called "Rock in Rio". The two met up after the show in the dressing room.
George said that their relationship was the first time he had experienced true love. He said of the relationship: "It’s very hard to be proud of your sexuality when it hasn’t given you any joy, but once you have found somebody you really love it’s not so tough." He said that Feleppa "broke down my Victorian restraint and really showed me how to live, how to relax, how to enjoy life. He was the first person I had ever loved, and I discovered he loved me too."
