Anne Soy

Anne Soy is a journalist based in Nairobi. She is a correspondent at BBC Africa. [1]

Education

Soy attended Moi Girl's High School School in Eldoret. She then attended Moi University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in information sciences, specializing in media studies.

In 2011 Soy enrolled for a Master of Public Health/ Epidemiology degree at Moi University.

Career

Soy is also a health specialist and has reported on this subject for almost 10 years.

She has attained seven awards and reports for outlets across the BBC such as, BBC World News, and BBC World Service.

Soy was nominated for the UN Person of the Year award in Kenya for her consistent reporting on HIV/AIDS in 2009.
