Anne Kiguta is a Group Digital Manager and Senior Anchor at Citizen TV by Royal Media Services. She has had a lot of experience with media. Previously, she was a news reporter and anchor for Standard Media Group, and a Presenter and Producer at 93.3 Hope FM at 18 years old. ^[undefined] Later, she joined Capital FM Kenya as a reporter, anchor and subeditor. She then joined the Kenya Television Network, moving on to what she is doing today. ^[undefined]

Being born the youngest of 4 children, Anne was not pampered at all, and her eldest sister kept an eye on her.

Though the youngest, she has been a natural leader and would always play the mother during a game of kalongo.

Her assertiveness landed her in trouble a lot with her siblings.

Despite it all, she was daddy's little girl.

Anne went to university at Daystar University for Communications, Electronic media and Public Relations from 2004-2008. She went to secondary school at The Rusinga School in Nairobi. ^[undefined]

Anne began her career at the age of 18 as a youth talk show host for Hope FM from 2003-2006.

Here, she conceptualized and budgeted for future campaigns.

She took charge of audience research as she had an advisory role for senior management on the best ways to increase audience growth.

Here, she pioneered two radio shows which continue to air today.

She later began reporting at Standard Media Group from 2009 - 2013.

Her role here involved sub editing stories and creating news casts.

She monitored media international media reports for electronic and print media.

Through it all, she maintained the news website.

From 2010 - 2013, she had taken her position as a Senior Anchor and Current Affairs Editor at Kenya Television Network.

Since 2013 and ongoing, she has been the Group Digital Manager and Senior Anchor at Citizen TV.

^[undefined] Here, she assigned other anchors their positions and took on a management role.

She trained others and carried out screen tests.

She got the opportunity to plan media coverage and source news stories.

Furthermore, she hosted live news items for prime time bulletins, breaking news and special events.

During her career, she has interviewed a wide range of global leaders including Kofi Annan, Jeffrey Sachs, Luis Moreno Ocampo and Jesse Jackson. She has even moderated various forums including the Young Presidents Organization. She is also a part of the Association of Media Women in Kenya. ^[undefined]

Other than her TV appearance, Anne is also a philanthropist.

She is a Nutrition Advocate for Save the Children charity. She advocates for appropriate nutrition for children, in which malnutrition is the leading cause of child mortality worldwide. Anna is also a mentor with the Eve Sister Programme which seeks to empower women and girls. ^[undefined] It is sponsored by The Standard Group to provide an opportunity for women of all walks of life to meet with Kenya's leading women role models. As a mentor for Africa 2.0, she works towards sustainable solutions in improving Kenya. ^[undefined]

Kiguta has been rumored to be dating Jomo Gecaga.

She had a daugher with her ex-boyfriend who would beat her.

She was then going to marry Steve Ngunyi who cheated on her, and the wedding was cancelled.

Recently, she had given birth to her twins.

There has been controversies as to who the father of the children are.

Kiguta is inspired by her daughter, and sees her as her most prized possession.

When asked what she would not give up for fame, she said her daughter.
