Early life
Ann Marie was born and raised in Texas. She later moved to California in the early 1980 to become an actress. She appeared in the small roles in many TV Shows and movies, including The A-Team, Sledge Hammer!, The Young And The Restless, and Sunset Strip.
She became active in the political world in 2008.
Career

Personal life
She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband Mark Murrell.
She has one son named Jason Murrell, who works in TV production and also acts as her cameraman in many of her events.
In 2015, Jason was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis, a neurological disorder that she was diagnosed with shortly after. In a self-written article on her website Politichicks.com, Murrell discusses her struggles and experiences with MS. She is a supporter of the National MS Society and is an advocate for MS awareness.
