Anis is a graduate of Tokyo Institute of Technology in Yokohama, Japan where he received his B.S. in Engineering. He then attended Oklahoma State University where he received his M.S. in Electrical and Computing engineering. ^[1]

He then received his PHD from Tokyo Institute of Technology in Computer engineer. ^[11]

Anis is a partner and CEO at Pegasus Tech Ventures who overlooks the overall management and operations of the firm, which some of the companies in their portfolio include: Genius, Jibo, Lark, Scanadu, Jetlore, Meta, Expect Labs, and ShareThis. Prior to that he sat on the board of directors for numerous companies in the last couple years. These companies include: Kii Inc, Dream Link Entertainment, Lark Technologies, Tech in Asia, Jetlore, Infoteria Corporation, and many more. ^[2]
