In 2011 Angel became the Founder of Vera Wear. [1] He has spearheaded a charity under the Vera umbrella called Vera Cares dedicated to providing assistance to homeless families.
Angel was a candidate seeking the Republican nomination for governor of Florida in the 2018 election. He withdrew from the race on February 14, 2018.
