Career
Andrew DeSantis is currently the CEO of DeSantis Inc and E8 Inc. He previously worked as a software engineer at 21 Inc, a tech company that is developing a full-stack infrastructure for Bitcoin from January-July, 2016. The company was founded by Balaji Srinivasan and backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Peter Thiel. [1]
Andrew was previously the Co-Founder and CTO of BTC Inc. (BTC Media) from December 2014-January, 2016. BTC Media owns Bitcoin Magazine the oldest news site covering Bitcoin. During that time he was also a Tech Editor at Bitcoin Magazine. From September, 2014-January, 2016 Andrew worked as a Tech Editor at yBitcoin a magazine covering the Bitcoin ecosystem with over 50,000 magazines produced per issue. [1]
Andrew was the Founder, CTO, and President of Avalonic Inc which developed mobile virtualization technologies for cross platform applications from February-December, 2014. He was the Co-Founder and CTO of Appratus. [1]
In 2017, DeSantis got into beef with John McAfee while arguing about the future of Bitcoin. DeSantis brought up McAfee's criminal history multiple times, causing McAfee to have feelings of dismay toward the Bitcoin developer. [undefined]

Andrew DeSantis is a lifetime member of the Bitcoin Foundation and is on the foundation's grant committee. He is also an Associate Member of the Free Software Foundation and a Wikitech Ambassador with the Wikimedia Foundation. Andrew is also a Master Mason of the Free Masons. [1]
