Andrea Bullo is a Restaurateur, the Owner of Moonshadows Malibu. [1]

Career

Originally from Venice, Italy, Andrea’s passion for culinary and hospitality businesses has brought him to the United States. Andrea began working at the prominent Venice restaurant, Do Forni e Antico Pignolo, from 1979-81. He continued his career in the hotel industry at Cortina d'Ampezzo and 5-star hotels, such as Londra Palace, Metropole, Danieli and Excelsior, in Lido. [0]

Arriving in Los Angeles, California in 1985, Andrea started his American career by working in a small Italian restaurant, La Terazza. During that time, he decided to go to school, and in 1987, he completed the UCLA Hotel Restaurant Management Program, receiving his UCLA Vintage Program Certification and AIS Certification. [0]

In 1989, Andrea joined Spectrum Foods Inc., a leading restaurants group in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County and San Diego. A few years later, he joined the famous Chianti Cucina on Melrose, as an assistant manager. In three years, he was promoted to general manager at the prestigious Harry’s Bar American and Grill in Century City. A year after that, he joined Prego in Beverly Hills and spend few years there. With all of his experience in restaurant businesses, Andrea decided to open his first restaurant, Il Buco, in Beverly Hills. [0]

In 2001, Andrea opened his second Restaurant, Moonshadows Malibu, with his longtime friends, Rodolfo Costella and Franco Simplicio. [0]
