He is an alumni of the City University of NY and holds degrees in Mathematics and teaching education.
[7]He first earned his BSS in mathematics in 2012.
During his time as an undergrad, he was involved in the following organizations: MEC Gospel Choir and MEC Mathematical Society.
He was also a member of the Pi Eta Kappa Honor Society.
In 2015, he earned his Master of Arts degree in Mathematics Teaching Education.

In 2012, he was awarded a $100,000 grant from Math for America for agreeing to serve as a New York City public school teacher while furthering his own studies.
The funds will be paid out over five years, as a stipend, in addition to Andre’s New York City, Department of Education salary.
MfA will also pay Andre’s tuition costs as he pursues a Master’s in Education from the City University of New York’s (CUNY).

Sexual Abuse Charges
On April 25th, 2018, Braddy was arrested for sexual abuse with a minor of 15 years of age.
For about a month, he had sexual encounters with the male student in the school bathroom for at least a month.
Authorities say the teen with who he had the encounter with told his parents who then alerted the police.
Braddy has been charged with two counts of criminal sex acts, one count of acting in a manner injurious to a child, and sex abuse.
The Department of Education released a statement:
"These deeply disturbing allegations have no place in our schools and he was immediately removed from the school.
He will remain away from students pending the outcome of the investigation and we will pursue his removal from payroll as soon as legally possible."
Lenox School plans to legally take Braddy off of their payroll as soon as they are able to.
