Biography
Ana Valeria Becerril was born in Distrito Federal, Mexico, on January 4, 1997.
She is a young Mexican actress who began her acting career at the age of 15, entering the theater with the Macramé Collective.
She ended high school at the Colegio Madrid[3].
At the end of 2016, she recorded her first film, "The Daughters of April" by the multi-award-winning director, Michel Franco, where she shared the screen with Emma Suérez (Julieta, 2016). Her participation took her to the Cannes Film Festival, where the film was awarded the Jury Prize (Cannes Film Festival) in the Un Certain Regard section[4].
For her performance, she was recognized with the Female Promise Award at the CANACINE Awards and Best Female Revelation at the 60th Ariel Award Ceremony in 2018.
She can also be seen in the feature film "Muerte al verano" and as well as the series "Control Z" produced by Netflix[5].
Career
She began her acting experience from an early age under the direction of Mariana Gándara, participating in the Fauna Zone during the XXXVI International Book Fair of the Mining Palace, the Miracle and the Foro el Bicho.
In 2013, she made her debut on stage with ‘The last reef in the third dimension'[6].
Since then, she maintains a constant participation in productions such as: El Rey Galaor (2014) under the direction of Ximena Sánchez; The last reef in third dimension (2014) under the direction of Mariana Gándara, at the Teatro de Orientación and La Gruta Forum; Rigoletto (2014), opera directed by Luis Enrique at the Palacio de Bellas Artes; To die or not to die (2015) directed by Antón Araiza at Foro Lucerna; and Antigone (2016) directed by David Gaitán, at the Juan Ruiz de Alarcón Theater.
