Amy Qin is an American journalist based in the United States. She is an Asia culture reporter at The New York Times. ^[1]

Qin graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Political science. She went on to attend University of Oxford, where she received a Master of Philosophy.

Her work has also appeared in Foreign Policy California Sunday Magazine, ChinaFile, PIN-UP Magazine, and The Atlantic.
