Amrutha Iyengar (born 26/07/1996) is an Indian film actress who primarily works in the Kannada film industry. She is best known for Shivarjuna (2020), Popcorn Monkey Tiger (2019) and Love Mocktail (2020).^[1]

She was born on 26 July 1996 to a Murlidhar and Bhargavi in Mysore, Karnataka. She has two brothers and one sister. She completed her schooling at Christ the king convent, Mysore and graduated with psychology degree at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, Mysore. ^[2]

After graduation, she got an opportunity to act in ‘Anushka’ Kannada movie which was directed by debutante Devaraj Kumar where Amrutha paired opposite Tulu cinema and Kannada cinema star Roopesh Shetty.

She has also acted in ‘Simha Hakida Hejje'(2016) as the main lead.

Her big breakthrough film is 'Popcorn Monkey Tiger' Kannada Movie, directed by Duniya Suri, the film stars Daali Dhanjaya, Niveditha Jags, and Sapthami Gowda in the pivotal roles.^{[3] [9]}

In 2020 she appeared in two films so far; romantic movie 'Shivarjuna' directed by Shiva Tejass & Drama film 'Love Mocktail' directed by Darling Krishna.^[4][5]

She is currently single and focused on her acting career.
