Raye was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama alongside her brother Danner and sister Erin. [1] She is fluent in English and German. Raye is a student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she is pursuing a degree in biochemistry and plans to attain her PhD in the subject.

Raye grew a large following on Vine, garnering 450,000 followers on the platform before it shut down.

[1] She started her YouTube channel in May 2013 and originally posted vlogs. In 2014, she was part of the collaborative YouTube Channel GLAMSS alongside Lycia Faith, Gabby Berry, Maya Hope Haider, Safari Gage, and Casey Berry. More recently in 2018, she started uploading videos of herself playing Fortnite.

As of December 2018, Raye had over 211,000 followers on Twitch, 97,000 subscribers on YouTube, 18,000 followers on Instagram, and 72,000 followers on Twitter.

Raye has three pets, a calico cat named Jade, Siamese cat named Jasmine, and a husky named Stella.
