Previously Alexandra served as Media Editor, based in London and New York, where she wrote about the television, film, newspaper, music and marketing businesses worldwide.
Before that, she served as The Economist’s Finance Correspondent.
She started writing for The Economist in 2008, and has also published articles with Newsweek, Slate.com, the Chronicle of Higher Education and the Nation.
In 2013 Alexandra was named Britain’s Young Financial Journalist of the Year by the Wincott Foundation.
