Alex Mixon is an artist and community manager who is based in Albany, Georgia.

Mixon is a fan of suicideyear and has liked several of his songs on YouTube. ^[3]Alex has a preference for overweight women and had an account on fantasy feeder. ^[2]

Mixon is an occult artist and has been a member of DeviantArt for over 9 years as of 2017. ^[4]He also has a Facebook Fan Page which boasts over 300 likes. ^[1]

Alex Mixon started the Cult of Kek (Facebook Group) on September 17, 2016. At some point, Alex became inactive in the group, and several new admins took over. Over the time, the group grew to nearly 25,000 members and grew to have a life of its own. Mixon states that the group devolved from it's original intent of being an occult page to being just another average alt-right political banter page.

After a coup instigated by James Portocarrero on January 8th lasted merely a few hours, a second coup was installed by Mixon himself and installed the original September 2016 admins. Both times, the group was renamed from the Cult of Kek to the Cult of Shrek.

Thousands of members have decried Mixon's actions as heresy and a direct insult against Kek.

A second group has been created to pick up the pieces that Mixon and his companion Mixon replied with a verse from his Book of Kek chapter 3, verse 12, where he says that those who are against his actions do not have a sense of humor.
