Alex Delora (born March 9, 1989) is a professional belly dancer. ^[1] who performs on stage in many countries around the world. Alex has also served as creative director and choreographer for the belly dance studio YALLA. She participates in many festivals as a dancer, instructor, judge and performer.

Alex is a graduate of the Kryvyi Rih Institute of Economics.^[1]

Alex started dancing when she was an adult.

Her first dancing experience came from a fitness-mix group class which combined fitness with oriental music.

After the class, she was inspired to learn more about oriental culture.^[17]

She has being to 35 countries to do workshops and shows about belly dancing.^[17]

Alex's belly dancing career is documented on her alexdelora Instagram account. As of December 2019, she has over 177,000 followers on the platform.^[9]

Delora also runs a YouTube channel, where she posts her dancing videos. As of December 2019, she has over 71,000 subscribers on her channel.^[8]

Alex's grandmother is from the Middle East. Alex liked to watch old movies and TV shows with oriental dance when she was a child, but started doing it seriously only in adulthood. Previously, she did Gypsy dancing.^[17]

Alex designs all her costumes herself.^[17]
