Alex Bessell is a British Hacker known for initiating several Cyber attacks on companies such as Google and Skype. He was arrested and in January sentenced to two years in jail for dozens of Cyber crimes.

Bessel was born and raised in Liverpool and lived in the town of Toxteth. He would later live in the town of Aigburth. Since the age of 14 years old.

Since the age of 14 years old he has been delivering cyber attacks to online companies like Google.

Alex Bessel had his own Deep Web business called Aiobuy selling harmful IT viruses and made more than $699,830 from his crimes.

^[1] He designed a ‘crypter’ as part of a software package to hide bugs from computer users and makes them invisible to anti-virus systems.

He had more than 35,000 purchasers.

He also sold other products from other vendors which allowed for users to spread viruses, conduct attacks and steal data.

On January 18th, 2018, he was sentenced to two years in prison by Birmingham Crown Court after admitting to a total of 10 offenses, including unauthorized access to computers, impairing the operation of computers, making and supplying malware and money laundering.

He was caught with Cocaine at the time of his arrest.

When West Midlands Police raided his house they found on his computer 750 names and passwords from infected computers. ^[1]

Police found he had more than 9,083 "bots" - computers under his command, infected without owner's knowledge - which he used to launch 102 attacks on firms such as Pokemon, Skype and Google.
