Akisa Wandera (born July 13, 1992) is one of the youngest news anchors for KTN Prime Time News. As Ben Kitili, her co-host said when she debuted “Allow me to introduce to you the next big thing in the Kenyan media. The latest addition to KTN’s exceptional pool of talent. Akisa Wandera.”
Education
Akisa Wandera studied at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication in South B Nairobi, a school which has grown into one of the most respected institutions of its kind in Africa as it admits students from all many different surrounding countries, not just Kenya. KIMC is one of the main schools for media training degrees. Starting her college experience in 2010 she graduated KIMC after attending for 3 years in 2013
Personal Life
She is not married and it is unclear if she is dating anyone at this time.
But Akisa does have a family consisting of 3 sisters, one brother, and her mother, Lyndah Amran Olivier.
The names of the sisters are Irene Neksah Sifuna, Sharonne Kiaye, Vivian Nabwire and Velma Wandera, and her brother Michael Brooks.
Career
She debuted in March 2016 on KTN Prime Time News as one of the youngest news anchors to be there.
Previously she worked for Ebru TV as a news anchor and presenter for table talk TV from March 2014 to March 2016. Before this she worked at a Korea Owned GBS TV Station.
In 2015 she was one of the first runners up during the Media Councils Annual Journalism Excellence Awards, in the category of the Best presenter of the year.
In the Kenya Television News screens she is one of the youngest news anchors they have today.
