Adam Burks is an assistant engineer who works for the city of Moorpark, California in Ventura County. Prior to his engineering career, he was in the United States Marine Corps and served in Desert Storm. Burks completed his degree at Eastern Washington University.

Burks is also known for being married to former Softball star and ESPN analyst, Jessica Mendoza. The couple have two children together, Caleb and Cayden.
