Adam Mueller ("Ademo Freeman")

Adam Mueller, known by the nickname "Ademo Freeman" online, is the founder of CopBlock, an organization that is critical of police abuse of power. He is often considered a Libertarian Activist.

Background

Adam in Nature.

Adam in Nature.

Born and raised in Mayville, Wisconsin, he grew up in a working class family and often worked in construction and factory work.

In the late 2000s, after his time in prison, he began to educate himself on several issues rampant during this time, such as: housing bubble, bailouts, and corruption.

He became involved in activism through several organizations and social networks.

He travelled in a RV for four years traveling the country while also working on projects where he produced more than 300 videos talking with protesters, politicians and philosophical folks about their views of the current affairs. The projects were for motorhomediaries.com and libertyontour.com.

He eventually formed CopBlock.

Arrests & Trouble With Law Enforcement

Earlier in the 2000s, he was arrested for conspiracy to distribute Marijuana which is a reoccurring issue that would haunt him during his life and to eventually form the online activist group, CopBlock.

He ran into several statist laws concerning a restriction to acquire a Liquor license. A Real estate License he had acquired was also taken away after a news source wrongfully reported unethical activity. This also prevented him from starting a company with his friend.

He had lost the right to vote, own fire arms, and work in several industries.

He was arrested again when the local police department entered his home on an extremely loose search warrant and found a small amount of Cannabis. He was charged with his second felony and by then he had lost a faith in the justice system. While in prison, he decided to sell his home, quit his job, and live under the radar.

He was arrested a few other times during his four year tour around the country working on projects.

He interacted many times with law enforcement which cause arrests in Massachusetts, Colorado, Nevada, and Wyoming.

In February 9th, 2017, Mueller was arrested for drug trafficking. He was driving through Lebanon, Ohio when he was pulled over by Ohio state Police. Adam began to record the moments when he was pulled over, asked to step out of the car, and when the police states his reasons for pulling him over. The reason Ohio state police trooper, Martin, pulling over Mueller is because they suspected him of having drugs, specifically marijuana. [1]

The video lasts for about 44 minutes.

During the beginning of the video, Ademo does not consent to a search, and denies smelling of Cannabis. The smell is what gave the state trooper the probable cause to search his car. They placed him inside a cruiser. The trooper searched the vehicle and found a suitcase in which he asks Freeman for the key to it. Freeman denies giving it to him. The Trooper then breaks open the suitcase and found Marijuana inside.

He was placed under arrest and taken to Warren County Jail as the two, Freeman and Trooper Freeman, discuss victimless crimes.

He was charged with a third degree felony of drug trafficking, and two counts of possession of drugs - a third degree and a fifth degree felony.

He was also charged with a burnt-out tail light.
