Adam Harris is an American journalist based in Washington, D.C. He is currently a staff writer at The Atlantic where he covers education. ^[1]

Adam Harris attended Alabama A&M University and Texas Tech University.

He was eviously a reporter at The Chronicle of Higher Education covering federal higher education policy, historically black colleges and universities, and all other things higher education.

Prior to joining the Chronicle, he served as the Social Editor at ProPublica, an independent, non-profit newsroom that produces investigative journalism in the public interest.
