Acton Bowen

Paul Edward Acton Bowen is an American youth pastor, author, and public speaker residing in Southside, Alabama. He is the founder of Acton Bowen Outreach Ministries. [1]

Personal Life & Career

Bowen served for 12 years in a local church, led a citywide student Bible study in Gadsden, Alabama, and was also the host of xlroads TV. [1]

He has also appeared as a regular contributor on Fox News as a correspondent on faith and religion.

Bowen served as a chaplain in the Summer Olympic Games in London and is the author of "Escape the Noise," which reached the New York Times Best Sellers List and the Amazon Top 100 list. [1]

He is married to Ashley Nabors Bowen.

In the Media

On Tuesday April 11, 2018, Bowen was arrested on multiple charges including second-degree sodomy, second-degree sexual abuse, and enticing a child to enter a vehicle/house for immoral purposes. His bonds on those charges total $90,300.

The victim in the incident is an underage male family acquaintance.
