Abraham Riesman
Abraham Riesman is an American journalist and author based in New York. He currently writes for The New York Times and Vulture.[4] He used to be a staff writer for New York Magazine. [6][1]
Education
Riesman graduated from Oak Park & River Forest High School in the class of 2004.
He then attended Harvard University, where he received a degree in political science and social anthropology. He graduated in 2008.
He briefly lived in Seoul while working on his undergraduate thesis. He wrote about nationalism at a South Korean high school.
Career
Prior to his role at New York Magazine, Riesman has done writing, video, and audio for other media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, The New Republic, Vice, WNYC, NY1, and The New York Sun.
He often writes about superheroes and superhero franchises, like Marvel Universe. He has a book launching September 29th, 2020 called True Believer: The Rise and Fall of Stan Lee, available for pre-order on Amazon and at the Penguin Random House website. The book's publisher is Penguin Random House under Crown.
