Abigail Hauslohner

Abigail Hauslohner

Abigail Hauslohner covers Washington, D.C.. government and politics for the Post. Before coming home to the District in 2015, she spent seven years as a foreign correspondent in the Middle East and North Africa, first for Time (magazine) and then as the Post’s Cairo Bureau Chief. She has covered wars and revolutions from Egypt to Libya, Iraq, Gaza, Yemen and Afghanistan. But through peace and conflict, she most enjoys writing about how big politics affects ordinary people.
