Aaron Lawson is an American resident of Lawrence County known for being a key suspect in the killing of four people, including Devin Holston, Ironton, Ohio. ^{[0] [5] [3]}

On October 12, 2017, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office stated that deputies were called to an Elizabeth Township trailer around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday October 11, 2017, where three adults were found dead.

A fourth adult was found stabbed at a nearby residence and was flown to a hospital.

7-year-old Devin Holston was found shot to death inside the home. His body was found hidden in the home. Another victim came home to the scene after work and was attacked by Lawson and stabbed several times. ^{[5] [3] [2]}

That person was able to escape and was airlifted to a local hospital where he is doing well at this time.

Around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies spotted Aaron Lawson, a person of interest, in a blue truck in Ironton, about 15 miles (24 kilometers) south of where the victims were found.

Deputies briefly chased Lawson before he crashed his vehicle into a ditch and ran into the woods.

A manhunt is currently underway for Lawson, and warrants have been issued for his arrest, on three counts of murder and one count of aggravated murder. ^{[5] [4] [3]}

After running into the woods somewhere in the Southern part of Ironton.

The next day, he was seen in the city of Pedro in Lawrence County while walking along a road. ^[9]The local, state and federal law enforcement "saturated" the area and set up a perimeter that helped contain Lawson's movements that lead to his arrest. ^[10]

Aaron did not resist and did not try to run.

He gave up and officers made the arrest.
