History
The Woody Show began on January 3, 2006 at Live 105 in San Francisco, California with Jeff "Woody" Fife, Tony Mott, and Renae Ravey. Greg Gory and Jason "Menace" McMurray later joined The Woody Show from other positions at Live 105.
On April 1, 2009, Woody, Ravey, and Tony were terminated for airing an unreleased Green Day song, "Know Your Enemy", which resulted in the cancellation of The Woody Show by Live 105.
[1] Subsequently, Woody moved to St. Louis, Missouri for the Woody and Rizzuto show on 105.7 The Point, followed by Ravey in 2013. Greg and Menace were not fired and remained at Live 105. Greg later moved on to work at KFOG in late 2011. Woody and Ravey left the Woody and Rizzuto show on April 1, 2014.
On April 21, 2014, Woody, Ravey, Greg, and Menace reunited for The Woody Show at ALT 98.7 in Los Angeles, California. [2] Tony Mott has not return to radio since he was terminated by Live 105. Tony currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri and works at a cable company.
Executive Producer Sebastian "Sebas" Davis joined the Woody Show on April 6, 2015.
[3] He was previously the Executive Producer at Rock 100.5 in Atlanta, Georgia.
On December 18, 2015, the cast of the show announced reaching an agreement with iHeart Media to keep the Woody Show in Los Angeles for another three years, through 2018.

Popular Segments
Redneck News : On Monday through Thursday, Woody reads a news story about a person or persons from a "redneck" locale getting in trouble with the law for strange reasons. On Fridays, listeners vote for the Redneck News Story of the Week from the four entries, with the winner joining the field for December's Redneck News Story of the Year vote.
First World Problems/"That Sucks" Stories : Occasionally on Tuesdays ("the most depressing day of the week"), the crew will take calls from listeners with First World problems, then read back news stories with tragic or depressing events and ask which situation the listener on the phone would prefer to be in.
L.A. Craigslist Freak of the Week : Every Wednesday, Ravey reads three personal ads from the "Casual Encounters" section of the Los Angeles Craigslist site. Listeners then vote on which ad is the most disturbing.
Greg Gory's Hate Mail : Greg occasionally reads an email lambasting him for his political or social views, then (not so) calmly offers a counter opinion on the air.
Smokin' and Drinkin', Drinkin' and Smokin' Stories : News stories involving people committing bizarre acts while under the influence of alcohol or drugs are read on air. On occasion, Woody's Aunt Chrissy will call in to provide commentary on the stories.
Shrink Tank : Frequent caller Big Tank comes to the studio to give advice to fellow listeners who call in with their problems.
Dumbass Contest : Daily segment where listeners call in and compete to win concert tickets or other prizes. The actual contest is different every day, but some are used more frequently. D.U.I.Q. : Always played on Mondays, this contest involves audio of Sebas asking trivia questions to intoxicated people, with listeners wagering on whether the people interviewed will know the answer. Will Menace Know It? : Listeners wager on whether Menace, who is largely ignorant of professional sports, can correctly answer which sport a particular athlete plays. Guess Whose Gas? : An audio recording of one of the crew farting is played, and listeners call in to guess who the offender is.
Today in Outrage : Woody reads news stories of people being publicly outraged over relatively minor issues. Bookended with clips of "I've Been So Mad Lately" by Butt Trumpet.
Fat Chick/Skinny Chick"' a Lady Listener volunteer to be on the radio and answer stereotypical questions asked by the Woody show crew to determine whether she is fat or skinny. After all questions are answered crew will take a guess and fat/skinnny is revealed (Volunteer listener gets a prize)
**Throwback Thursday ** : Every Thursday, only songs that are at least 10 years old get played, often by listener request. Each Throwback Thursday always includes these song segments: Backwards Couples Skate Song : A power ballad or slow dance song meant to evoke memories of roller rinks or high school dances. 80s Trash Track of the Week : A "guilty pleasure" pop song from the 1980s. Classic Hip-Hop Track of the Week : A classic hip-hop song. Class of 20xx : An alternative rock song that is at least 10 years old officially becomes eligible for Throwback Thursday, often to the surprise of some of the crew.
Friday Fail Stories : After the crew sings along to an off-key rendition of Also sprach Zarathustra, Woody reads news stories involving spectacular or humiliating
failures.
Friday Turn-Up : A 30-minute DJ set by Scotty Fox to get listeners excited ("turned up") for the weekend.
