Ken Dilanian

Ken Dilanian is an American journalist based in Washington, D.C. Ken Dilanian is Intelligence and national security reporter for the NBC News Investigative Unit. [1]

Education

Ken Dilanian graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor's degree in political science and history.

Career

Prior to joining NBC News in January 2016, he was a reporter at The Los Angeles Times from April 2010 until May 2014. Before that, he had spent three years at USA Today, where he covered foreign policy and Congress.

He worked for a decade at the Philadelphia Inquirer, three of them as a Rome-based foreign correspondent making frequent trips to Iraq.

A series he co-wrote on deaths in Philadelphia’s child welfare system won the 2007 Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism.
