Alyssa Michelle Lewis was an American college student at the University of Central Florida. ^[1]

Lewis hailed from Jacksonville, Florida. ^[1] She graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Douglas in Jacksonville.

At the time of her death, Lewis was in her fourth semester in college at the time of her death.

On Tuesday December 12, 2017, paramedics found Lewis dead inside her dormitory around 10:00 a.m. local time.

^[1] Classes for the fall semester ended Saturday December 9, 2017, and Lewis’ roommates had checked out of the unit Sunday.

UCF police and Orange County deputies don’t believe the death was suspicious and said there’s no threat to the campus community.
