Translation: Audio is an alternative, indie rock band from San Diego, CA. Members include Brent Black on vocals and lead guitar, Christian Partida on guitar, Jay Lauterwasser on bass and Paul Anderberg on drums. What takes most freshman bands a few years to achieve, Translation: Audio has accomplished in just this past year. They wrote and produced the seven song EP ‘Pain and Joy’ which was released in December 2012 to a sold out crowd at the Tin Can Alehouse in San Diego. They've performed around San Diego at House of Blues, 4th & B, The Soda Bar, Bar Eleven, Boars Cross’n, The Griffin and The Royal Dive. They also played two separate shows at the 2012 San Diego County Fair. The band even found time to tour the West Coast extensively, playing in Los Angeles, Ventura, San Francisco, Reno, Portland, and Seattle and as far inland as Phoenix and Las Vegas. Translation: Audio has been interviewed live and played on San Diego’s 94.9FM; their music has also been featured on San Diego’s Rock 105.3, 102.1FM KPRi and Berkeley’s 90.7 KALX-FM. When you see the band you realize that this is only the beginning. They continue to write new material, play locally and will keep touring the West Coast. The band is also making plans to tour the Midwest this summer to build their following on a national scale. Translation: Audio is currently pursuing distribution deals along with tour support in order to help them spread their sound to a global audience. [+]
