Tom Moore is an indie acoustic guitar based folk-jazz-pop artist from the banks of Lake Monroe, FL.
Born in Warwickshire, England his love for music began to develop at a young age as he grew up listening to the music of The Beatles, Paul Simon, and Gilbert O'Sullivan. These classic artists along with the likes of Kings of Convenience, Badly Drawn Boy and Iron & Wine plus his roots in formal Jazz training have all had an influence on his work.
Tom Moore's first recorded release was with the indie alternative rock band On the Soap Box that he formed while in High School in which Tom plays bass and is the lead singer. He went on to release a solo EP, "It Took Five Years but Now We're Doing Fine", in the summer of 2010 before returning to his work with On the Soap Box and releasing the album "Figure It Out!" with the band in early 2012.
After a single release with his electronic down-tempo side project Friendly Boffin, Tom Moore is now back to work on more solo material. His latest album The Rafter with it's first single, Dresser Drawers is scheduled to be released late 2013. [+]
