Timothy Coleman is a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Restructuring & Reorganization Group. Mr. Coleman also serves as a member of Blackstone’s Executive Committee. Since joining Blackstone in 1992, Mr. Coleman has worked on a variety of restructuring and reorganization assignments for companies, creditor groups, special committees of corporate boards, corporate parents of troubled companies and acquirers of distressed assets. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Coleman was a Vice President at Citibank N.A. for twelve years, where he divided his time between corporate restructuring, real estate restructuring, and loan syndications. Mr. Coleman is a frequent guest lecturer at Columbia University. He is a member of the inMotion Board of Directors, the Teach for America New York Board of Directors, the Board of Leaders of the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital Council.
