The Saturdays are a British-Irish girl group based and formed in London, United Kingdom. The group - consisting of band members, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford & Vanessa White - were formed through Fascination Records in 2007, and to date have released three studio albums, two EPs and fourteen singles. In July 2008, the band released their debut single, "If This Is Love" through record labels, Fascination and Polydor. The song charted successfully in Scotland and the UK, and became The Saturdays' first top-ten hit.[1] The group later released their critically acclaimed first studio-album, Chasing Lights in October 2008, spawning further hits; "Up", "Issues", "Just Can't Get Enough" and "Work". The album reached a peak of number-nine in the UK, and was certified Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. In 2009, a sell-out concert tour, titled, The Work Tour, saw the women travel around Europe in support of their first record. Their second album, Wordshaker, followed in October 2009, and featured the two hit-singles; "Forever Is Over" and "Ego". The band later released their first EP, Headlines! in 2010, which produced the further two top-ten hits; "Missing You" and "Higher" - which featured guest vocals from American rapper and singer-songwriter, Flo Rida. The Saturdays additionally embarked on their second headlining-tour, The Headlines Tour in this year. November 2011 saw the release of the group's third studio-album, On Your Radar. This record saw a change in musical direction for the girls, and featured the singles; "Notorious", "All Fired Up" and "My Heart Takes Over". Later that year, the band took to their first arena tour, titled, All Fired Up! Live. "30 Days" was released as The Saturdays' thirteenth single in May 2012, and serves as the lead single from their fourth studio-album, due to be released in the United Kingdom in 2013. The success of the single was followed by the release of their first number-one single in the UK, "What About Us" and an American reality television series, Chasing The Saturdays in 2013. [+]
