Sam recently deferred his scholarship to the Berklee College of Music to focus on recording his 3rd full length album which was released on 12/4/14. He is an accomplished guitarist, singer and songwriter who has performed on NPR (at just 16), and throughout the Midwest including Milwaukee's Summerfest and the Isthmus Jazz Fest. Sam grew up as the youngest of a musical family in Madison, Wisconsin. His oldest brother Clay is a jazz saxophonist who has toured internationally and recently graduated from Boston's Berklee College of Music on full scholarship. He recently came off tour with reggae/jam band SPIRITUAL REZ. Sam's 22 year old brother Isaac is one of the Midwest's hottest young hip-hop performers - he has 2 solo releases out as rapper Duke Daeo. He won a MAMA for 2013 Hip Hop Album of the Year. Sam's dad is a bass player, trombonist and singer who has toured and recorded with Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown), Butch Vig (Garbage) and Freedy Johnston. [+]
