THE FLYING HOUNDS are Ned Vogel, Jack Cox, Tom Cox.

THE FLYING HOUNDS are an rock and roll band from CHICAGO, IL. Although Vogel and the Cox brothers only recently joined forces in 2014, they have been performing across the American midwest and Canada with various acts (including Dayton, OH's Authors & Audio) since 2007.

THE FLYING HOUNDS incorporate elements of psychedelic rock, surf rock, punk, and low-fi garage rock. They have what appears to be a dynamite sound.

THE FLYING HOUNDS are influenced by The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, The Byrds, The Pixies, Weezer, Tom Petty, Kiss, The Strokes, and Black Sabbath (The Dio Years).

THE FLYING HOUNDS recorded and mixed their debut album, "Take Off! with The Flying Hounds," from late December 2014 through early January 2015 at Jack's apartment in Chicago. Righteous sounds were produced.
