The Advocates is comprised of Austin Fredrich on vocals and guitar, Zach Bridier on drums, and Trevor Sattler on bass. Coming together from the Denver and Chicago areas, the band was formed in 2011 while attending Greenville College. Influenced by bands such as Panic at the Disco, Reign of Kindo, and Mutemath, they enjoy playing funky rock tunes, and their lyrics typically focus on troubles with girls. Because what other kind of troubles are there? None. The band brings a charismatic atmosphere as appealing live as it is just to listen. Trevor is the shortest of the three and has more pedals for his bass than Austin has for his guitar. Contrary to popular belief, they don’t actually ever do origami. [+]
