Scott Rogowsky is a comedian and host of his own show, Running Late. He has gained notoriety in the internet for his use of parody upon taboo subjects through the gag of using fake front book covers to get reactions from bystanders.
He was born in Harrison, NY and is a tremendous New Yorker with a great knowledge of comedy. He uses the late-night tradition that spans from Carson to Conan as he hosts with his sidekick/Father, Marty. The show welcomes an array of guests like comedians, authors, filmmakers, and varied talents on to the stage to form part of the amazing, live talk experience. The show was launched in October 2011as the all-purpose, general-interest talk show at The PIT, which grew to a weekly show before shrinking to a twice-monthly endeavor at Galapagos Art Space in Dumbo, Brooklyn, which then moved to Symphony Space in Manhattan and Littlefield in Brooklyn and the UCB Theatre in Manhattan, where you can find him interviewing the top comedians, actors, authors, musicians, filmmakers, sex bloggers, and pizza tour guides in New York City.
As a writer and filmmaker himself, Scott contributed to both seasons of The Onion News Network on IFC and Onion Sports Dome on Comedy Central, and has had comedy shorts showcased in the 2011 and 2012 Worldwide Short Film Festival in Toronto and the 2012 Milwaukee Film Festival.
He plays baseball in Prospect Park, softball in Central Park, and enjoys a good sneeze.
