Sam Kazemian (b. February 12, 1993) is an Iranian-American software engineer. He is the Co-founder and President of Everipedia, the world's first knowledge base on the blockchain. He founded the company with Theodor Forselius, Mahbod Moghadam, and Travis Moore in 2015.
Sam graduated from UCLA in 2015, double majoring in Neuroscience and Philosophy. During his tenure at UCLA, Sam was also a member of the UCLA Powerlifting team. In addition, Sam put together a homemade CPU +GPU mining rig using old desktop computers in his dorm to mine cryptocurrencies in 2014. Prior to University, Sam attended Westlake High School, where he was a Cross Country and distance athlete.
He is an avid fan of philosophers Tyler Burge, Hillary Putnam, Slavoj Žižek as well as Bertrand Russell. Sam builds custom hardware devices to improve his work-flow, such as ergonomic keyboards. He is also an audio equipment enthusiast. [✔]
