Roni Eshel is the founder and CEO of goFlow, a web-based platform that provides crowdsourced information on conditions for surfing and other outdoor sports.
Prior to launching goFlow, Roni was a world-class professional surfer, ranked number 7 in Europe, with sponsorships from Roxy, Red Bull, and Skullcandy. As a surfer on Red Bull’s roster of athletes and after surfing professionally around the world, Roni was recruited to join Red Bull’s marketing team where she developed and executed creative marketing strategies for the brand.
Following her experience at Red Bull, Roni co-founded Surf House Pro, a surfing school and day camp for adults and children of all ages. Simultaneously, Roni found herself immersed at the cross-section of sports, art and technology, as a freelance event producer for brands and artists throughout Israel. It was this culmination of her experience across verticals—sports, art and technology— that inspired her ideation and creation of goFlow.
Inspired by the tech and innovation boom happening in Israel, Roni founded goFlow, the world’s first mobile application that enables real-time reports for weather driven and action sports. It is comparable to Waze, the crowdsourced map application.
Roni Eshel and her company believe that the best moments happen in nature, and that everyone should be able to maximize their happy moments outside. goFlow unlocks access to the world's top outdoor sport destinations and an incredible community of outdoor enthusiasts so you can live an active life. Their mission is to make living an active lifestyle more achievable.
