Singer songwriter guitarist Robert Richter is an energetic performer creating music that blends different genres from folk to blues to rock to Celtic played with passion and energy as solo, duo or with his band.
Richter’s credits include appearing on Tom May's nationally syndicated radio program "River City Folk," carried on more than 250 NPR affiliates nationwide. In addition, his music was played on the "Bob Dylan Radio Hour" heard on the Sirius Satellite Network and on KUSF-FM in San Francisco. In the summer of 2013 Richter was filmed performing live as part of a documentary film produced by a German television network. The documentary filmed in Gold Beach, Oregon will air in November on German television. He recently performed on "Live at 7," seen on Portland's NBC affiliate KGW.

2011 National Fiddle Champion "Aarun Carter" often joins Richter as a duo. Originally from Colorado, Carter has appeared on NPR's syndicated program "Prairie Home Companion." She won the title at Weiser, Idaho.
Also joining Richter on violin and viola is talented Rachel Bowen. Originally from the San Francisco Bay area she began playing violin at the age of 6. In addition to her performance skills she is also a songwriter.
A live CD "A Change of Heart" was released in 2012. Richter also hosts a weekly radio program "Local Roots," featuring the music of NW Artists. The show can be heard on KMUZ-FM 88.5 in Salem, OR and streaming live online at KMUZ.org every Sunday at 7 pm.
