Rob Bayne - Vocals / Acoustic Guitar
Rob Bayne has been a fixture on the Bay Area Music scene for over 20 years, mainly as a drummer/percussionist/backup vocalist, playing with an number of wonderful SF Bands, musicians and songwriters including Misner and Smith, Sonya Hunter, The Family Jewels, Speed Bumps, Radio Zero, Ira Marlowe, Jesse DeNatale and many others. However, his career as a songwriter, guitarist and recording artist began in earnest back in 2007, with the release of his first solo album "When the Billionaire Plays Guitar". This eclectic album of original tunes was described by Bay musician and author Pat Thomas as follows: "Frankly, I haven't heard a singer/songwriter album from a San Francisco musician this good since Pat Johnson's Mooner/October Moon disc several years back..." Rob Bayne and company are currently working on an new album, with the help of Chris Von Sneidern (www.cvsmusic.com) and Bruce Kaphan (www.brucekaphan.com),
two of the finest and most prolific musicians/engineers/producers in the Bay Area. [+]
