In 4th grade, Randy and his family moved to St. Peters, Missouri and attended Duchesne High School (Missouri) where he played football and men's Volleyball. In addition, Randy earned the designation of Eagle Scout during his time in high school.
Santel went on to attend Missouri State University and earned a degree in Construction management in 2008. During his time there, Randy was a member of the MSU Bears Football Team as an offensive lineman for three years.
After College, Randy worked as a construction estimator for J.E. Dunn Construction and later joined Speck KC as a concrete estimator.
Throughout his life, Randy's weight has fluctuated from him being Obese to being Ripped. On January 11, 2010, he took on the Spartacus Transformation challenge and lost 25 lbs in two months. One week after completing the challenge, he successfully ate a 28'' Pointersaurus Pizza at Pointer's Pizza and won $500. This challenge motivated Santel to dedicate his life to eating and working out and showing people how to transform their lives.
He flexes before he eats to show his superiority and dominance over the food.
