Leaving Silicon Valley
On November 19th, 2017, Preethi published a Medium post about leaving Silicon Valley for Los Angeles, California. Although she is thankful for the opportunities she had and the connections she made, she criticized Silicon Valley for becoming an area of Group think and that technological innovation, especially in blockchain, was not centralized in Silicon Valley but happening in cities worldwide. Preethi chose to move to Los Angeles because of it's proximity to Silicon Valley, the booming tech scene in the city, the weather, and the diversity of people that inhabit the city.
