Masjid Ibrahim is an independent American muslim organization based out of Las Vegas, NV that provides for the social, educational, and spiritual needs of the local Muslim and Interfaith community. We are committed to serving our community by promoting the values and teachings of Islam, developing charitable programs for social support, and promoting inclusion, cooperation, and understanding among Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
In 1995, Las Vegas residents and real estate investors Sis. Sharaf and Bro. Syed Haseebullah purchased a nearly one acre parcel of land located on Las Vegas’ north end. Upon seeing a dilapidated and destroyed house sitting on nearly an acre of land, the duo formulated a plan to allow the house to serve as a place of religious worship for what was, at the time, only family and a few friends who lived in the area. Over the course of years, the house on the land continued to undergo renovations. In 2005, Bro. Syed passed away. It was at this time that Sis. Sharaf formulated a plan to invest her personal life savings into the land for the purposes of creating a new, state of the art mosque which will serve the needs of the Muslim community in the surrounding areas. In 2008, the mosque was named Masjid Ibrahim.
