Yury Dud

Yury Aleksandrovich Dud (Russian: Ю́рий Алекса́ндрович Дудь; born 11 October 1986) is a Russian sports journalist, who also runs an unrelated youtube channel vDud (вДудь) where he interviews famous Russian figures.

Biography

Dud is an ethnic Ukrainian who lived in Russia since the age of 4. [0]

Since 2001 he worked in Russian newspaper Izvestia as a freelance journalist, and became a staff journalist in the age of 16. [0]In 2008 Yuri Dud graduated from the MSU Faculty of Journalism. [0]

In 2007 he worked in sports magazine "PROsport", then in a sports division of NTV Plus. [0]

Since 2011 Dud is an editor-in-chief of Sports.ru.

In 2011-2013 Dud led a TV show "Headbutt" at Russia-2, and in 2015-2017 he did other show for TV channel Match TV.

Internet show

In February 2017, Dud launched a YouTube channel named vDud, where he initially interviewed celebrities.

[1] By June 2017, his channel gained over 800 thousands subscribers, and by September 2017, Dud's channel had 1.4 million subscribers.

On his Internet show Dud interviewed prominent Russian figures such as Vladimir Posner, Alexei Navalny, Oleg Tinkov, Sergey Shnurov, Little Big (band), Yevgeny Chichvarkin, Vladimir Zhirinovsky [2], Mikhail Khodorkovsky [3], Basta, L'One, Ilya Naishuller, Noize MC, Maxim Fadeev, Dmitry Malikov, Yury Bykov, Leonid Parfyonov, Ksenia Sobchak, Yuri Shevchuk, Semyon Slepakov as well as citizens of Armenia like Garik Martirosyan and Ukraine like Ivan Dorn [4]and Alexander Rodnyansky.
