Matthew Hauri (born March 19, 1996), better known as Yung Gravy, is a rapper from Rochester, Minnesota. He is also known under the stage names Lil Steamer, Mr. Butter, and Mr. Clean. [9] He describes his music as a fusion of 50's and 60's soul and oldies with modern trap music. He is best known his song "Mr. Clean", the music video has over 43 million views on YouTube. He has collaborated with artists including Chief Keef, Juicy J, Lil Baby, and Ugly God. [13] [23] [33]
Musical Career
Yung Gravy started out Rapping on his friends mic in the summer of 2016 [13]. After he posted some of his songs on SoundCloud [19], he soon gained a large following with over 67,000 followers on SoundCloud by the end of 2017. He has also developed a large following on YouTube [4] with over 918,000 subscribers and on Instagram [6] with over 997,000 followers. Yung Gravy started performing shows in 2017 and performed at SXSW in Austin, Texas. While Yung Gravy has a large fan base he has remained relatively anonymous only revealing his face after posting his first music video in October, 2017. [13]
On May 31, 2019 he released his first studio album, Sensational, with Republic Records. [26]
Since 2017, the rapper has completed two North American tours, with support from acts such as Ugly God.
He has released four EPs, one mixtape and one album.
As of October 2019, Yung Gravy's most successful song is "Mr. Clean", the music video has received more than 43 million views on YouTube.
In August 2019, Yung Gravy and bbno$ released the music video for their song "Whip A Tesla".
The music video quickly blew up on YouTube receiving more than 7.9 million views in less than two months.

Yung Gravy is passionate about music genres such as soul musicandoldies from the 50s and 60s. With his raps he fuses these older genres with moderntrap music. Yung Gravy's influences includeMarvin Gaye, The Blackbyrds*,* Stevie Wonder, andOtis Redding [13].
