Sean Williams better known by his stage name YBC Bam, was an American rapper from St. Louis. He was killed in a shooting in Granite City, Illinois on June 4, 2020. ^[2]

YBC Bam had more than 30,000 followers on his Instagram profile. He went by the moniker Alejandro Sosa on his profile. Alejandro Sosa is the name of one of the antagonists in the 1983 movie, Scarface. ^[1]

According to Spotify, the majority of his listeners were in St. Louis, Chicago, and East St. Louis. ^[4] On his Twitter page, YBC Bam gives his location as Madison, Illinois. YBC Bam’s final tweet was posted on June 3, 2020. It read, “BLACK POWER!”. ^[5]

He often posted photos with Ashaia Chanel^[8] on his Instagram account.

On June 4, 2020, a shooting took place at around 10:00 p.m.

One man was found dead at the scene.

The deceased man was found in a truck behind a home.

Authorities have one person in custody and are searching for two others.
