Yafteh Ortiz is a student at Mountain View High School in Orem, Utah. Yafteh works at Hollister Co. He hails originally from Coahuila, Mexico.

On November 15, Ortiz was getting ready for gym class when he was stabbed in the neck by an unidentified student.

Ortiz was taken to the hospital for his injuries and posted on Facebook that he is recovering well. [1]
